Clean energy is good for business. RISE PA powers the transition.
RISE PA’s $396 million supports clean industry projects of all sizes.
Why RISE PA Matters
Industrial decarbonization is the process of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from manufacturing and industrial operations. Industrial decarbonization projects can:

Lower energy costs

Create good-paying jobs

Attract new investment to Pennsylvania

Improve public health
Pennsylvania is an energy leader, and RISE PA grants can help keep the Keystone state at the cutting edge of innovation while reducing emissions and boosting the clean energy economy.
Reducing Industrial Sector Emissions in Pennsylvania (RISE PA)
RISE PA is a $396 million grant program available for businesses and industry that enables them to update operations and processes to be more streamlined and more profitable, while boosting Pennsylvania’s economy. RISE PA supports projects of all sizes that cut greenhouse gas and other harmful emissions from industry, which is critical given the industrial sector produces more than 30% of Pennsylvania’s total emissions.
By using cleaner technologies, improving energy efficiency, and switching to low-carbon energy sources, businesses can be more competitive while reducing their environmental impact. The RISE PA grant program supports these efforts, helping industries modernize and become part of a cleaner, more sustainable future.
The RISE PA application deadline is August 29, 2025.
