About the event
This session will present key insights of recent and forthcoming publications on nuclear energy financing from the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that will support evidence-based discussions regarding nuclear energy financing at COP29. Financing, Market Design, and Project Management in Nuclear New Build and Effective Frameworks and Strategies for Financing Nuclear New Build together identify strategies that policymakers and private sector decision makers can leverage to help finance a tripling of nuclear energy by 2050.
