CATF at New York Climate Week: Highlighting the need to deploy a wide range of climate solutions at scale

September 15, 2023

New York — Clean Air Task Force (CATF) experts are joining a series of important convenings at New York Climate Week next week, highlighting the need for a pragmatic approach to climate action and the rapid deployment of a diverse array of climate solutions at scale.

“We’re at a critical juncture,” said Lindsey Baxter Griffith, U.S. Advocacy and Policy Director at CATF. “Ambition to address the climate challenge has never been greater, with significant progress in recent years from policymakers, companies, investors, and civil society. At the same, we’re falling short of our emissions reductions targets at nearly every level and we must dramatically accelerate clean energy deployment to close the gap. Climate Week provides an important opportunity to convene with fellow advocates, engage key policymakers and corporate leaders, and push for the changes we need to decarbonize both the U.S. and the global economy.
