Health Risks in Ohio from Oil and Gas Air Pollution

While these pollutants cause health problems in areas with oil and gas booms and intense activity, they also cause problems in other regions, as air pollution travels across the country. In Ohio, which has worked to ensure that newer oil and gas equipment is lowpolluting, citizens are harmed in particular by ozone smog, which originates from oil and gas pollution from across much of the central and western US.
