Growing the market for low carbon industrial products: policy framework

Clean Air Task Force is working to support the UK Government’s ambition to accelerate industrial decarbonisation and expand the market for low carbon industrial products. Our response to the Government’s June 2025 consultation on this issue emphasises the need for a robust, mandatory policy framework that goes beyond voluntary measures, to deliver the scale and certainty required for meaningful emissions reductions, and support the development of competitive markets.
