About
Ben Grove serves as the Deputy Director of CATF’s Carbon Management program. Ben joined CATF in 2021 and leads strategic technical, policy, and regulatory initiatives aimed at advancing commercial-scale deployment of carbon capture and storage technologies globally by midcentury. Ben is a trained geologist and carbon capture and storage (CCS) subject matter expert with over a decade of experience in geologic storage, CCS policy and regulation, commercial project development, and CCS techno-economics.
Prior to joining CATF, Ben led techno-economic assessments of commercial CCS projects and supported commercial CCS business development at Battelle Memorial Institute. Ben holds a M.S. in Geochemistry and a B.S. in Petroleum Geology & Geophysics from The Ohio State University. He is currently based in Mason, Ohio.
