Europe Policy Manager, Methane Pollution Prevention
About
Pablo joined CATF in 2026 as the Europe Policy Manager for the Methane Pollution Prevention team. In this role, he leads the implementation of CATF’s methane strategies to reduce emissions from major emitting sectors across the European continent.
He brings over 15 years of experience in climate change policy in a wide variety of sectors, and more than 10 dedicated to methane mitigation in particular. Before joining CATF, he spent three years as an independent consultant, working globally for clients such as the RecycleOrganics Program, the Renew Pacific Program, the UN Capital Development Fund, IRENA, Climate Analytics, and CATF itself. He previously also served as Senior Advisor for NewClimate Institute in Berlin, and as Program Manager for the Center for Clean Air Policy in Washington D.C.
Pablo is a Chemical Engineer from the National University of Mexico, and has a Master’s Degree in Energy Science from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. He is currently based in Norway.
