Senior Analyst, Methane Pollution Prevention
Kait Siegel joined Clean Air Task Force in 2022 as a Senior Analyst on the Methane Pollution Prevention team. She focuses on issues related to methane mitigation from the waste sector. Prior to joining CATF, Kait worked at Abt Associates as a Climate Policy Specialist where she supported U.S. federal, state, and international clients in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, primarily methane and other short lived climate pollutants from waste and agriculture. She worked with the Global Methane Initiative and Climate and Clean Air Coalition to further the development of biogas. Kait also helped clients understand the non-climate co-benefits of mitigation and adaptation actions.
Kait received a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment. She also holds a B.A. from Siena College in Biology.
