Julia Kislitsyna
Communications Manager
About
Julia manages advocacy communications for CATF in Europe, supporting policy efforts across the EU, Central and Eastern Europe, EU Member States, and the United Kingdom. She develops and delivers strategic messaging that translates technical and policy expertise into accessible, impactful content for journalists and policy stakeholders. She works closely with CATF’s advocacy and technical teams, as well as program communications managers wherever technical knowledge, advocacy, and policy intersect, ensuring communications are well-aligned and effectively targeted.
Prior to CATF, Julia was responsible for press, digital, and media engagement at the Berlin office of the climate think tank E3G, working with German and international outlets on climate diplomacy, energy, and economic policy. She also helped grow the visibility and outreach of the Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB), developing communications and events across Europe, and digital strategy during a critical period as CDSB’s disclosure framework was integrated into the IFRS Foundation’s International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), alongside standard setters such as the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), SASB Standards, and the Integrated Reporting Framework (IRF).
Earlier in her career, Julia led project management, marketing, and communications at a digital content agency, partnering with media platforms to grow their online presence. A lifelong learner, Julia is always eager to engage with complex topics and explore new ideas—no matter how challenging.
