About
Jack Gomersall joined CATF in January 2026 and serves as Senior Manager, Europe on CATF’s Industrial Innovation team. In this role, Jack supports the implementation of climate and energy policy that drives real progress in decarbonizing European industry. He focuses on how smart regulation and effective policy design can accelerate emissions reductions across hard-to-abate sectors.
Before joining CATF, he worked on carbon capture and storage (CCS), hydrogen and carbon dioxide removal projects, including CCS-equipped natural gas reformation and electrolytic hydrogen production, giving him a grounded understanding of the practical and commercial realities facing first-of-a-kind decarbonization investments.
He now brings that project experience to bear on the European policy landscape, working across the regulatory frameworks that determine how industrial decarbonization technologies get deployed at scale.
