About
Christine Munson serves as a Senior Associate in Foundation Giving at Clean Air Task Force, where she supports the management of foundation grant portfolios and works closely with program staff to develop proposals, cultivate funder relationships, and identify new funding opportunities. Most recently, Christine served as a Business Development Officer at JSI Research & Training Institute, where she led comprehensive grantmaking strategies and managed cross-functional teams to design and execute a diverse portfolio of proposals, securing significant awards from major funders. Prior to that role, she successfully managed multiple multi-year grants from major funders, including The Gates Foundation and Children’s Investment Fund Foundation.
Christine’s professional background spans international development, human rights, and humanitarian response, with experience at organizations including the International Peace Institute, the International Legal Foundation, and Landesa. Originally from Washington, Christine is passionate about leveraging her skills in foundation relations to support CATF’s mission of catalyzing rapid development and deployment of climate-protecting technologies and policies.
Christine holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University’s Fletcher School, with a concentration in Gender and Intersectional Analysis, and a Bachelor of International Studies from the University of Washington’s Jackson School of International Studies, with a concentration in Human Rights and Gender, Women, and Sexualities Studies.
