Ana Alexandrescu

Events Manager

About

Ana joined CATF in January 2026 as an Events Manager, where she supports the planning, execution, and delivery of events in the European region and beyond. In this role, she ensures the production of high-quality, strategically aligned events that strengthen CATF’s visibility, advance advocacy objectives, and foster meaningful engagement with key stakeholders.

Ana brings several years of experience in event management across Europe. Most recently, she spent over five years at Euractiv, an EU policy media outlet, where she planned and delivered hundreds of policy-focused events in a variety of formats, with the majority taking place in Brussels. Outside of her professional work, Ana is actively involved in volunteering. During her studies, she organised fundraising events for UNICEF UK and currently supports social media activities for The Green Fix, a climate action newsletter.

Ana studied International Relations and Politics at Cardiff University, followed by a master’s degree in European and Global Governance at the University of Bristol. Originally from Bucharest, Romania, she is now based in Brussels, Belgium. In her free time, she enjoys reading, visiting museums, travelling, going to the cinema, and spending time outdoors with her Australian Shepherd.
