About
Amy Ouyang is the U.S. Hydrogen Associate at CATF, where she supports the strategic development and advocacy of policies to advance the deployment of low-carbon hydrogen across the transportation, industrial, and power sectors. Amy works closely with cross-sector stakeholders and government partners to ensure that hydrogen technologies are implemented in ways that are climate-aligned, economically viable, and scalable.
Before joining CATF, Amy was a Research Associate at MacroPolo, the Paulson Institute’s in-house think tank, where she led research at the intersection of energy transition policy and emerging climate technologies. Her work focused on green hydrogen supply chains, electrolyzer manufacturing market dynamics, and global green industrial policies.
Amy holds a MA in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a MS and BA in Journalism from Northwestern University.
