About the event
Cutting planet-warming emissions from industrial production is a complex challenge that is further exacerbated in the decidedly competitive and volatile geopolitical environment. Maintaining a vibrant, clean industrial base here in Europe will require timely and coordinated deployment of key clean technologies, including electrification and carbon capture and storage.
This online panel discussion, hosted by Clean Air Task Force and CCS Europe, is organised as part of the EU’s Sustainable Energy Days and will explore how to maximise the impact of different technological pathways in the industrial transformation.
Panel speakers representing emitting industries, clean tech developers, policymakers, and civil society will discuss how policy can best address shared barriers to deployment and tap into potential synergies.
