About the event
Join Clean Air Task Force (CATF) for an in-depth webinar introducing our Fusion Cost Model – a first-of-its-kind tool for analyzing the costs structure of commercial fusion power plants.
Developed by CATF and informed by more than a decade of collaboration with fusion developers, industry, leaders and international institutions — including foundational work with Advanced Research Projects Agency–Energy (ARPA-E) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) — the Fusion Cost Model integrates the most recent insights and methodologies in fusion cost estimation, including safety aspects. The session will walk participants through the model’s structure, key assumptions, and sample outputs, demonstrating how it can inform future innovation and investment in fusion technologies.
This event is intended for a global audience, including policymakers, investors, researchers, technology developers, and academic institutions, seeking to deepen their understanding of the cost dynamics shaping fusion’s path to commercialization.
