About the event
In 2024, the Draghi Report called for an overarching innovation strategy to commercialise fusion energy in Europe, citing its potential to deliver the clean, secure, and abundant power needed to advance Europe’s competitiveness, decarbonisation, and security goals. Today, the EU is preparing to unveil its first-ever EU Fusion Strategy to outline that vision towards the commercialisation of fusion energy in Europe.
With the strategy anticipated in the second quarter of 2026, Clean Air Task Force and the Fusion Industry Association are hosting a discussion where stakeholders across the fusion ecosystem will collaboratively build a path forward for this new era of fusion energy commercialisation. Using a strategic, commercial, and industrial lens, participants will assess the pathway forward and test whether the vision deliver the regulatory clarity, investment signals, and public-private coordination needed for Europe to compete for leadership in the race to commercialise fusion energy.
This event is part of the EU Sustainable Energy Days 2026. Please note that only participants who have received a written confirmation will be admitted to the event, due to capacity limits. To express your interest in this event, please email Ana Alexandrescu at [email protected].
