About
Bartłomiej Kupiec is a Policy Advisor for Central and Eastern Europe at Clean Air Task Force. His work focuses on advocacy and policy analysis to support the development of effective climate and energy policies across the CEE region.
He is a lawyer and climate policy analyst with several years of experience at the intersection of law, policy, and sustainability. Before joining CATF, Bartłomiej collaborated with leading Polish, German, and international law firms, consulting companies, think tanks, and government institutions, working on energy law, environmental regulation, and climate governance.
He holds a Master of Law degree from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. He is also a graduate of the American Law Program (organized by The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and the Jagiellonian University) and the German Law School (run by the University of Bonn and the University of Warsaw).
In addition to his role at CATF, Bartłomiej lectures at the University of Management and Information Technology in Rzeszów and at the Interuniversity Climate Academy (organized jointly by AGH University of Krakow, Warsaw School of Economics, and the University of Wrocław). He is the author of several academic and policy publications in the field of energy policy.
In his spare time, Bartłomiej enjoys playing squash and chess, climbing, and exploring world literature.
