About

Sara joined CATF in January 2023 and currently serves as Regional Manager, Europe. In this role, she supports the development and implementation of CATF’s strategy across Europe, mainly focusing on Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). She works closely with European Directors and program teams to drive cross-functional collaboration, project execution, and thought leadership.

Before joining CATF, Sara worked as a Junior Officer in the Division of Country Programming of the Green Climate Fund, where she collaborated with developing countries to plan, design and implement country-driven climate investments.

Previously, she was a Multilateral Projects Analyst in the Multilateral Department of the Embassy of Spain in the U.S. Her role included advising Spanish companies interested in projects funded by the Development Finance Institutions headquartered in Washington, D.C., mainly The World Bank Group and the Inter-American Development Bank.

Sara holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Melbourne and an MBA in International Management from UIMP University. She speaks English, Spanish, and French. She is based in Madrid, Spain.
