Über
Rachel Starr is the Senior U.S. Policy Manager for the Hydrogen and Decarbonization Transportation programs. She supports the development of and advocacy for policies in the U.S. that promote demonstration and scaling of hydrogen production, development of storage and transport infrastructure for hydrogen, using hydrogen towards decarbonizing a variety of end use sectors, and decarbonizing the transportation sector. Rachel collaborates across multiple CATF teams and works on initiatives at the federal and state levels.
Bevor sie zu CATF kam, war sie Stipendiatin der AAAS für Wissenschafts- und Technologiepolitik, zunächst im Büro von US-Senator John Hickenlooper als Mitarbeiterin in der Legislative für Klima- und Energiefragen und dann im US-Außenministerium im Bureau of Energy Resources im Team für kritische Mineralien. Sie hat einen Doktortitel in Materialchemie von der Columbia University und einen BA in Chemie vom Barnard College.
