About

Sue Sheridan is the President and Chief Counsel of the Coalition for Fair Transmission Policy (the CFTP). Ms. Sheridan worked on the U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee staff as Chief Counsel for Energy and Environment for Chairman John Dingell, and previously for Chairman Phil Sharp, from 1983-2008. Prior to her time on Capitol Hill, Ms. Sheridan worked at the Department of Energy and the White House Domestic Policy Council. Ms. Sheridan now is principal of Sheridan Energy & Environmental Consulting, LLC, and serves as Senior Policy Consultant to Van Ness Feldman law firm in Washington, D.C. She is an Adjunct Professor at the George Washington School of Law and has taught at the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs. Ms. Sheridan graduated from Duke University and Vanderbilt Law School.
