CATF statement on Fervo Energy’s Geothermal Sustainable Development Pact

Today, Fervo Energy announced the launch of its Geothermal Sustainable Development Pact, a potential new framework outlining standards for responsible geothermal development. Terra Rogers, Program Director for Superhot Rock Geothermal at CATF shared the following statement on the matter:

“Best practices on safety and community engagement are a valuable way to ensure the safe, transparent, and beneficial deployment of geothermal energy.
