Über die Veranstaltung
Energy affordability continues to be a significant challenge in Central and Eastern Europe due to volatile energy prices. While Romania has taken steps to mitigate the immediate impacts of the energy crisis through price caps, it now faces the twin challenge of managing limited fiscal space while ensuring affordable energy for both households and industry.
This webinar, hosted by Clean Air Task Force, in partnership with the Energy Policy Group (EPG), will discuss reactions to the new Affordable Energy Action Plan. We will evaluate its proposed measures in the context of Romania’s unique energy market characteristics and explore the critical steps Romania must take to ensure energy affordability, decarbonise its power mix, invest in resilient infrastructure, and transition consumers toward market-based electricity prices.
Dieses Webinar ist Teil unserer Veranstaltungsreihe CEETalks:Aufbau widerstandsfähiger Klimalösungen in Mittel- und Osteuropa.
