Théophile Humann-Guilleminot

Senior Campaign Manager, Methane Pollution Prevention

Théophile Humann-Guilleminot joined CATF in December of 2021 and is the Senior Campaign Manager on the Methane Pollution Prevention team. By leading campaigns and revealing the extent of methane pollution at oil and gas facilities, he supports civil society groups and environmental organizations’ actions in reducing methane emissions in their countries. Théo’s work documenting methane emissions has been featured in news outlets in Europe and Australia, including the BBC, France Télévisions, The Guardian, Die Zeit, RAI, and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
Prior to joining CATF, Théophile worked in different NGOs and grassroots movements implementing human rights projects and promoting climate action in Greece and the Balkans. He also worked for the French Ministry of the Overseas, focusing on the involvement of Outermost regions, Overseas Countries and Territories in EU policymaking. He holds a dual degree in Sciences and Social Sciences from Sciences Po Paris and Sorbonne Université and an M.A in European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris. He also studied Southeastern European Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
