Natalie Volk

Natalie Volk is a Communications Manager at Clean Air Task Force, overseeing strategic communications efforts across the organization’s global programs. Through adept storytelling, Natalie distills technical research and analysis into accessible content for policymakers, the press, and the public.

Prior to her role at CATF, Natalie was Associate Director of Communications and Media Relations at the Center on Global Energy Policy (CGEP), within Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). In this capacity, Natalie spearheaded executive communications for the Senior Director of Research Dr. Melissa Lott, managed communications for CGEP research programs and initiatives, and provided production support for CGEP podcasts The Big Switch and Columbia Energy Exchange.

Previously, Natalie served as a Communications and Business Development Associate at the Energy Futures Initiative (EFI), a climate and clean energy think tank founded by former U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz. In this role, she led research communications, managed EFI’s social media outreach, supported executive communications, media relations, and engaged with congressional and donor stakeholders.

Prior to her work in climate and energy communications, Natalie worked as a Funding Assistant at CKUT 90.3FM, a community radio station in Montréal, Canada.

Natalie holds a B.A. in Political Science from McGill University with a double minor in English Literature and German. She is fluent in South Slavic languages— Bosnian, Serbian, and Croatian— and possess intermediate knowledge of German and Spanish.
