À propos de l'événement

Thanks to major legislation such as the Inflation Reduction Act and the Net-Zero Industry Act, carbon capture and storage technologies are gaining increased attention – and scrutiny – as a climate solution in both the U.S. and the EU. As projects scale up and additional supportive policies take shape, a clear understanding of the facts behind carbon capture and storage has never been more important.

Join experts from Clean Air Task Force, the University of Sheffield, Imperial College London, and Delft University of Technology as they explore how carbon capture and storage can be harnessed for the benefit of the climate, covering key questions such as the permanence of geologic storage, energy demand and cost, and project performance to date.

This hour-long session will also feature a 25-minute interactive Q&A and address common concerns and misconceptions, providing clarity on the role of carbon capture and storage in climate action.
