Malwina is currently the Nuclear Energy Program Director, leading efforts to accelerate the deployment of new nuclear technologies globally, with focus on United States and Europe. With a strong foundation in nuclear engineering, she combines deep technical expertise with robust analytical capabilities, advising senior policymakers, ministers, and private sector developers on various low-carbon energy sources.
Before her current role, Malwina was a Senior Analyst on the Energy Systems Analysis team, focusing on CATF’s European programs and EU advocacy initiatives. Her previous experience includes working at Cornwall Insight, where she collaborated closely with renewable developers to navigate the energy markets and regulatory landscape in Great Britain. Additionally, Malwina served as a civil servant in the UK government’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, where she employed her analytical skills to shape future energy policies aimed at achieving the UK’s zero-carbon goals.
Malwina holds a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Oregon State University, an MSc in Nuclear Engineering, and a BSc in Power Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the nuclear engineering department at UC Berkeley.
