Hunter Ryan
Gift Processing Specialist
About
Hunter Ryan began work with CATF in 2021 as a temporary consultant assisting with year-end gift processing and acknowledgements of CATF’s generous donors before joining the organization as a Gift Processing Specialist in 2022. Before joining CATF, Hunter spent time in a high-capacity gift processing role for American Public Media Group — the second-largest producer of public radio programming in the United States, as well as with The Link, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit which works with youth and young families to overcome the impacts of poverty and social injustice.
In his current role, Hunter supports CATF’s Development team and their ability to continue bolstering the organization’s success through critical fundraising efforts by ensuring philanthropic contributions are processed and acknowledged in a timely manner. He is a born and raised Minnesotan based in the Twin Cities and brings nearly 10 years of nonprofit development operations and fundraising experience, going all the way back to his very first job in high school soliciting donations on behalf of nonprofit organizations across the country for a local telecommunications firm where he worked for many years in multiple capacities. Hunter’s passion for CATF’s mission of implementing sustainable climate solutions is the driving force behind his day-to-day work.
